President of Advisory Services
Thirty years experience in the financial services business in Los Angeles, New York City, London and more recently, the Coachella Valley. With a background that includes serving as senior investment banker to banks across the United States, credit analyst, Chief Financial Officer and private banker, Haddon brings a knowledge of the finance industry possessed by few wealth advisors.
Haddon feels strongly that most investment portfolios are not hedged properly for downside risk. “With bond portfolios at historically low yield levels, it is important to protect against a rise in interest rates,” he counsels his clients. To this end, Haddon employs investment analysis techniques used by banks when assessing risks imbedded in investment portfolios.
In addition, he is the co-founder of ShareKitchen, a non-profit business incubator in the Coachella Valley that has helped scores of young businesses since 2012. ShareKitchen has won numerous awards for its contribution to the community. Haddon also serves on the Board of Directors for the La Quinta Arts Foundation, the Executive Board of the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitor’s Bureaus’ ArtsOasis project. He is a former Board Member of The Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Gardens, Palm Springs International Film Festival and Palm Springs Cultural Society. With more than 200 media appearances, this Rotarian has spoken at the Milken Foundation on inner-city lending, at the USC Film School on film finance, the California Broadcasters Association & Cal State San Bernardino on Industry Forecasting. Haddon has a column in CV Weekly and for laughs can be found on occasion at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
Haddon graduated Magna cum Laude from Northeastern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and won the Ford Humanitarian Award. He holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses.
